2017 Masters Tournament and TV Schedule

Whether you are on the Augusta National grounds live in person or you choose to watch The Masters on TV, the following schedule will help you plan your days.   All times are Eastern Standard Time consistent with East Coast, New York Time.  You can also watch the Masters Live online at the official website.

Masters Golf Tournament Schedule:

  • Monday, April 3, 2017 - Practice Round 1
    Gates open 7:30 am - Gates Close approximately 6:30 pm
  • Tuesday, April 4, 2017 - Practice Round 2
    Gates open 8:00 am - Gates Close approximately 6:30 pm
  • Wednesday, April 5, 2017 - Practice Round 3 and Par 3 Contest
    Gates open 8:00 am - Close approximately 6:30 pm
    10:00 am - Par 3 Course Opens at approximately 10:00 am
    10:30 am - Masters Major Achievement Award Ceremony
    12:00 pm - Par 3 Contest starts at approximately 12:00 pm
    12:30 pm - William Porter Payne, Chairman, Augusta National Golf Club and the Masters Tournament
    3:00 pm - Par 3 Contest Live on
    3:00 pm - 5:00 pm - Live Coverage of the Par 3 Contest on ESPN
  • Thursday, April 6, 2017 - First Championship Round 1
    Gates open 7:30 am - Close 30 minutes after play is completed (Inaugural Tee Shots at 7:40am (Arnie, Jack, Gary)
  • Friday, April 7, 2017 - Second Championship Round 2
    Gates open 8:00 am - Close 30 minutes after play is completed
  • Saturday, April 8, 2017 - Third Championship Round 3
    Gates open 8:00 am - Close 30 minutes after play is completed
  • Sunday, April 9, 2017 - Fourth Championship Round 4
    Final Championship Round - Gates open 8:00 am and Close 30 minutes after Green Jacket Presentation Ceremony
